  • You know when you've encountered a good company-you're satisfied beyond your expectations and wish you had know about them years ago. I have six mesquite trees and was expecting all would need pruning but during the estimate I was told three of them could wait. Wow. I was surprised when a crew of four showed up with lots of gear and equipment. They did a lot of pruning and my trees are healthy and look great now, two months later. I highly recommend them.

  • The crew exceeded my expectations. They skillfully removed a large palo verde tree, taking great care not to damage a large beautiful fig tree next to it (they didn't even touch the fig with any branches). There was also an issue with nearby power lines that made the removal even more difficult, but apparently not to them! They also did an excellent job cleaning up, blowing and raking the entire area. I could not be happier with the experience, and would highly recommend this company.

  • We had some troublesome oleanders. One starting to separate a wall because of its size and a old crab apple tree that all needed to be removed. Bryan and his crew came out did a fantastic job removing them and stump grinding. You couldn't tell the trees had ever been there and their clean up was excellent. Prices were good for the amount of work and difficulty as well as the piece of mind of a licensed, insured and highly professional tree service. Would highly recommend and will go to them in the future for any of our landscape needs. Bryan even gave us some great advice and pointers on how to care for a beautiful pine tree we have that was in distress. We hadn't even noticed and now it's doing very well.

  • This was our first time to use Finest Tree Service. The workers arrived on time and the foreman explained to me what they were going to do to each tree before they began. All of the workers were polite and worked hard the entire time and we are so pleased with the work they did trimming our four citrus trees and large pine tree. I especially appreciated that they cleaned up really nicely and raked the gravel in my yards after they were finished. The foreman (sorry I can't recall his name) was very pleasant and before leaving talked with us about caring for our trees in the future.   • Big branch fell on roof. No immediate damage to house, but a real worry wind would work the branch around and give us leaks going into monsoon season. Their crew showed up less than 24hrs after the branch fell and simply handled it.

  • All around great experience. Guys were all pleasant and left my yard and patio cleaner than they found it. Had 4 palms removed with stumps ground out, 4 palms trimmed, a bougainvillea removed and it's stump ground out, pups removed from a palm bush (I don't remember what it's called) and trimmed up. Guys were on time, if not a little early, and got a confirmation call morning of appointment. Very happy with Finest Tree Service and I will contact them for future jobs.

  • We had to have a large mesquite tree removed from our back yard for a pool that we're having constructed, plus a few other smaller trees and limbs removed around the yard. Bryan came out and gave us a fair quote. His crew was right on time and they knocked out the work quickly and professionally, and cleaned up everything afterwards. Don't risk going with an unlicensed and uninsured tree removal service - it's just not worth the relatively small amount of money you might save. If we ever need tree service again, we'll only call Bryan at Finest.

  • Good professional service. The 5 guy crew were on time and started their work asap. We had quite a few things to be done in our yard and they finished, plus clean up, in 3 hours. The clean up was EXCELLENT! Our yard looked better after the work was completed than before. The crew was fast, efficient and hard working. The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars is that our 2 front mesquite trees were pruned/thinned out more than we had expected them to be. By the time we noticed it was too late to stop the work. Just hope they grow back faster/fuller sooner. Overall, we are pleased with the work done and would highly recommend Finest Tree Service.   • We had 2 trees removed (one was a 23 year old California Pepper) and 3 mesquites trimmed. The owner, Bryan is very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and hardworking. He brought an equaĺly competent team with him, arrived early, and completed the job in about 3 hours. He brings several trucks including a wood chipper and cherry picker. Clean up was excellent. We attempted 3 bids before accepting Bryans. His was the best.   • I was worried that a large Palo Verde was in need of removal. Their guy arrived at the scheduled time and discussed the tree and what the problems were, and how to treat them. He advised me that there were many years still in the tree. Mainly the root borers and some wormy things in the bark. He also gave me tips on what to do with my other trees, and why they were not growing as expected. Great advice, friendly representative, and did not want payment for his time. Where else can you get all that?

  • I needed to remove a large mesquite tree in my back yard. I got 4 different bids and Finest Tree Service came in at a reasonable price with stump grinding. The other bids did not include stump grinding. The crew did a great job but I did have them come back to clean up the debris from stump grinding. Evidently some folks like the mulch I did not. I was charged a nominal fee but even with that it was still less than the other removal companies. If I needed other trees removed I wouldn't hesitate to call them back.

  • I previously had a large eucalyptus tree trimmed by Branching Out Tree Service, with Jim Bredice. Within a year, all the branches near the cuts they made were infected with something and dying. A plant pathologist told me that the cuts had been made with chain saws that had not been cleaned from a prior infected tree. Finest Tree Service, with Bryan Jackson, now came with clean chain saws, cut off the many infected large branches, and gave me excellent advice on how to water the tree so it would recover from the stress of cutting. The tree is now getting fresh leaves and appears really healthy. I strongly recommend Finest Tree Service!!

  • This is an excellent company. Brian gave us a quote the same day I called. He took time to survey the two trees that we needed to come down and then emailed the quote later in the day. The other company I called (Action) forgot our appointment and when their estimator finally came he took about 90 seconds to walk around, verbally gave me a price that was 25%% higher than Finest and never followed up. It was no contest--we hired Finest. Brian scheduled us for 3 days later. He called 15 minutes before the crew was scheduled to arrive to confirm that they were on time. The crew of 5 worked beautifully together, managing to take down a 45-foot fir and a 25-foot ash tree in about 2 hours, including clearing all the debris, grinding out stump, using a blower to clear away twigs and pine needles, and putting all the lawn furniture back in place. They even skimmed the pool! The professionalism and careful work of the crew were impressive, and they even offered to cut some of the wood into logs for our fireplace. To top it off, 15 minutes after they left, Brian called to check in and make sure we were happy with their work. You can't ask for better service than that!

  • Best Company! I don't usually leave reviews but this is a company that deserves it! They were professional, curtious, on time, and most importantly they did not lie about quality. Price was reasonable and they truly are insured. ::do your homework:: Some companies lie even when they provide you copies of the paperwork. My gut told me not to go the cheapest and I don't think I would have as great of an experience as this. What's best about Bryan is that he actually checked out the location of the tree in an attempt to save it before he concluded it had to be removed. Thank you again!

  • I hope to sell my property which has(had) an expensive architecturally beautiful home designed to "capture" the breath-taking views of the Catalina Mountains. But the home is now 12 years old and the previous GREAT view was basically GONE due to the growth of dozens of trees/shrubs/bushes. But also, there is a STREET directly behind my yard and whatever trimming to be done had to maximize the view while still "hiding" the fact that the street was there. Bryan came out; looked at the job; agreed that it was very difficult to determine how much time it would take him/his crew to do the work; and thus gave me a "worst case estimate" of the cost. Bottom-line: Finest Tree Service did a PHENOMENAL JOB (the view is great, and the steet is still "hidden"); they did everything perfect; cleaned up 100%%; and came in at a cost significant less than Bryan's "estimate". YOU could not find better workmanship, or a more capable, hard-working, honest group of guys to take-care of whatever tree issues you may have. I recommend them highly.

  • These are the guys to call. I had them remove a 25' Palo Verde tree which was 12 inches from my block wall dividing my property from my neighbors, causing the wall to heave upwards and separate from the roots. They not only removed it without disturbing the wall, but they also cleaned up 100%% of the mess in my yard and my neighbors yard! I had them grind the stump and they took it well below grade and replaced the hole with existing gravel. If you didn't know a tree had been there you would never know, it was that clean of a job. Moreover, the path they used to get the large limbs and debris from my small backyard into the front street side yard was cleaned up, raked and all the landscape gravel leveled to a condition better than it was previous to the tree removal. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

  • We used Finest Trees for a rather huge job last August. We had recently bought an older home whose yard was in much need of an overhaul. All in the same morning Finest Trees removed two tall palm trees, an old grapefruit tree, several small palms, trimmed a massive mesquite, plus dismantled two pack rat nests. The best part was they were quick, professional and efficient. Right after Finest Trees left we had some contractors up to work on our house and they could not believe how clean our yard was for having had done what we had done earlier that day. Finest Trees even spread our gravel out to cover where the trees once stood. On top of all this, we live overseas, so in order to set up an appointment with Finest Trees, we did it all by email with Bryan so we wouldn’t waste any of our time in Tucson trying to hire someone. Bryan did a perfect job working around our tight schedule for when we were in the States. The price for all of the work we had done was right on target for what we had hoped to pay and when we told people how much we paid for the work we had done, no one could believe that we got such an excellent price.   • In a recent (unusual for Tucson) day-long downpour, a large branch on our overgrown rhus lansia tree came crashing down in the yard. Several other large branches, also weighted down with pollen and now rain, hung ominously low over the roof. Based on other reviews on Yelp, I called Finest Tree Service for help. They responded quickly, came out, in the rain, removed the branches threatening the roof and set up an appointment to come back and thin out the rest of the tree. They were everything the reviews say: prompt, professional, reasonably priced, very thorough in cleaning up. The tree when they were done with it was like a new tree. They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs tree care.

  • Finest Tree Service was referred to me by a friend as the best true trimmers in Tucson. She had several large acacia trees in her front yard trimmed to keep them from dipping down into the street. They were quick, efficient and did an excellent job without leaving any mess behind for her to clean up. I mentioned to my friend that I was having trouble keeping my tomato plants moist enough. She recommended that I get a pile of mulch from Finest Tree Service.They delivered a pile of excellent mulch to exactly where I wanted it. Bryan was extremely friendly and professional. His truck and equipment looked new and well maintained. The consistency of the mulch was excellent and my tomato plants are now very happy. I am able to maintain a nice level of soil moisture even though I'm gardening in the desert. Tree mulch is an excellent resource for improving the quality of your soil and minimizing watering needs. It is amazing how the right equipment can turn unwanted tree blanches into high quality mulch. Finest tree service is a win win for the natural environment.   • Bryan and his staff at the Finest Tree Service were polite, friendly and professional from my first conversation with him till the job was complete. I have a large African Sumac that needed a good trim and he came out and worked with his crew to ensure the job was done correctly and to a high standard. His workers used harnesses to tie off and communicated well with each other to ensure the job was done safely. Finally when a person from Reid Park Zoo came by to collect the cuttings to feed the Elephants, they loaded the truck and made sure the load was tied down correctly, before ensuring my yard was left clean and tidy. It was a pleasure dealing with Finest Tree Service and I will use them again and have no qualms recommending them to other people as I am sure they will do a fantastic job.

  • I was looking for free mulch and found Finest Tree Service on the Internet. They delivered a whole truck load within a few days of my request. The mulch was small in chip size and had no thorns in it. Normally a load like that would last a long time, but I was covering a large area one foot or more deep.   • One thing I have learned over the 10 years I've lived in Tucson is that some of the best contractors (for anything) in this town are found through word-of-mouth from friends, neighbors and even reviews like those below. And that is where I started. Any service that has a 4.9 star rating and the same theme running through the written reviews regarding professionalism, timeliness, cost and customer satisfaction is a good place to start. I also called two other tree services in Tucson. One got back to me about 2 days later, the other took almost 10 days to respond . . . but Bryan actually took my call immediately while he was working (I believe he may have been up in a tree when he took my call) and came to my home before the end of that day. I was impressed by his ability to rapidly analyze and assess what needed to be done (removal of a HUGE mesquite in a tight place in my backyard and significantly trimming another overgrown mesquite in the front) and how both could be accomplished the best and safest way. I thought his estimates were quite reasonable and turned out to be lower than others. But more importantly, he didn't try to "upsell" me on things I really didn't really need (unlike other companies I spoke with). On the day of removal, he and his crew (including a crane) were onsite at exactly the time stated (6 AM), they went to work and had it all done (including grinding the stump) in record time. Everything was cleaned up - even beyond how it looked to begin with. And, his crew (very courteous and professional) not only cut up some of the wood for me, but they piled it neatly against the wall. Okay, so here's the summary: TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE REVIEWS BELOW - EVERYTHING THAT IS WRITTEN IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL ABOUT BRYAN JACKSON AND FINEST TREE SERVICE. Would i hire him again?   • Last week Wednesday October 1st, Finest Tree Service was hired to cut down a palm tree and a dead pine tree and remove the stumps as well. The team would be able to arrive on Friday 6 a.m.and begin doing their work. Bryan also said it would take a day to finish the job we were okay with that. The team arrived at exactly 6 o'clock on Friday morning just like they said they would. They got right to work and did not waste any time. They did their work and were done hours sooner than expected! They left our yard super clean and everything back where it was. They were careful with everything around our yard.   • Bryan was the best bid in town and the best advice. I went all around the block talking to people who were more than double the price or giving weird advice that I had to look up to be sure. My 70 foot eucalyptus trees (AKA widow makers) were making me very nervous and after a branch took my power line down last year, it was time to get serious and come out of denial. These trees got the best haircut for the best price I am convinced! Bryan and his team were prompt and what seemed impossible to me was seamless to these guys. I feel safer in my yard now.   • I located Finest Tree Service on the Better Business Bureau website. It has an A+ rating. Bryan Jackson, the owner, answered my call and was able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. I appreciated the fact that he came right out and gave me an estimate that was very reasonable and he was very professional. Bryan and his crew got right to work and did an awesome job thinning out my mesquite trees and taking down a dead tree. They cleaned up all the branches and left my trees and yard looking beautiful.
